The purpose of this form is so that I can get to know something about you and your lifestyle and so you can let me know what you are looking for in your future dachshund friend.  Once you fill out and submit the form, I will review it and may place you on a waiting list so we can work out getting you just the right little dachsie for you and your family.  (Being on the list does not commit you to anything, and you can ask to have yourself removed from the list at any time, so no worries.) Although only the first set of fields are required for this application/request form, it would be most beneficial to the both of us if you filled out as much as you can.  Some are pretty much just multiple choice preferences, so those shouldn't take long.  Thank you! What age of doxie would you prefer? young puppy (≈3 or 4 months and under), older puppy (≈4 or 5 months to a year), adult (over a year)? What sex of doxie would you prefer? male (often more "man's best friend"), female (often more independent)? What quality of doxie do you prefer? (Or, what would you like to do with your dachsie?) pet only, earthdog, flushing, tracking, coursing, racing, agility, obedience? I do not have, will not have, and do not breed for what is currently considered show quality. How would you like your ideal doxie to act? very independent, average, or dependent/clingy? very outgoing, average, or indifferent to strangers? very strong-minded, average, or submissive? very active, average, or couch potatoey? What structural type of doxie would you prefer? terrier type, mixed type, hound type, any type? What size range (in pounds) of doxie do you prefer? What coat(s) do you prefer? crisp shorthair, soft/velvet shorthair, any shorthair, longhair, any hair coat? Sorry, but I don't have wirehairs.  I do sometimes have longhairs, but my breeding program is aimed at tha sho'ties.  :) What color(s) and pattern(s) do you prefer?
