TDSH testing.  I can also provide a consultation detailing how and when to test your breeding stock for IVDD (the spine disorder endemic to the dachshund breed that clinically affects roughly half of all dachshunds) as well as BV, HV, and TV; various eye disorders; and patella luxation; plus how to test pups and adults for important qualities of temperament and drive, and what is considered acceptable or safe to breed for any of these outcomes. Or, for dachshunds in particular, I can supply that information along with much more, such as: an investigation into what temperament, drive, structure, and health strengths and faults up to three of your dogs have, advice/suggestions on how to note these traits in your dogs and how to find these traits in dogs you are considering adding to your breeding program, advice/suggestions on how to choose studs and bitches to get what you want and avoid some problems along the way, an analysis of which of those dogs would be the best match for breeding purposes with the dog you have in mind, and a clear layout for defining what qualities you want in your breeding program and how to achieve them, along with tips for troubleshooting These points are explained in my upcoming book, but now you can get a fast, personalized analysis and suggestions for your own breeding program which could very well save you a significant amount of time, study, hand-wringing, and, most importantly, a great deal of money - hundreds or perhaps thousands - in the long run.
